Data Controller

Data We Collect
Visitors without an account
When you use the disposable email service without registering, we may process: the temporary email address generated, received message content (stored temporarily), your IP address, browser type, pages visited and technical logs required for operation and security.
Registered user accounts
If you create an account, we collect and store: your first and last name (in a single "name" field), your email address, a hashed password, an optional profile photo, your saved disposable address history, session data, API tokens (Sanctum) and related login logs.
Purposes and Legal Bases
- Contract performance (GDPR Art. 6.1.b): providing the disposable email service, account management, saved temp addresses.
- Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6.1.f): security, abuse prevention, technical maintenance.
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a): analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google AdSense), manageable via "Manage cookies" in the footer.
Retention Periods
- Anonymous temp messages and addresses: automatically deleted per configured lifetime.
- Account temp email history: kept while the account is active.
- User account: kept until you delete it.
- Technical logs and sessions: limited retention for security.
- Analytics/ad data: per third-party cookie durations (see table below).
Recipients and Processors
Your data may be processed by: Contabo GmbH (hosting, Germany), Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) when you have consented.
Transfers Outside the EU
Some processors (including Google) may transfer data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
Your Rights
Under GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Contact contact@mail-jetable.fr (response within 30 days). You can download your data from your profile and delete your account at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France: CNIL).

We use a consent banner allowing you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function.
